For four years, the Shargi family has waited anxiously for the Iranian government to release Emad. Like too many other families, their loved one has been treated as a political pawn. We call on Iran to stop this inhumane practice and release Emad. pic.twitter.com/0xGYWEhUHq

LR @RepMcCaul:“US citizen Emad Shargi was unjustly detained in Iran 4 years ago today. He remains in Evin prison in terrible conditions. Emad and all hostages must be free to leave Iran, come home and reunite with their families immediately.” #FreeEmad #FreeIranHostages

"I want to hear your plans for how the Administration is going to bring home Americans wrongfully detained in Iran – Siamak & Baquer Namazi, Emad Shargi, Morad Tahbaz. With or without the JCPOA."@SFRCdems @SenatorMenendez #BringEMADhome https://t.co/fEdN1BuH1K via @YouTube

Emad Shargi was arrested 4 years ago today. He was cleared of all charges, but then convicted in absentia, rearrested, and has now spent over 500 days in Evin Prison. Emad, the Namazis, and Morad Tahbaz must all be allowed to come home now.

For 4 years, Emad Shargi has been unjustly detained in Iran under false charges. He languishes in the notorious Evin Prison, far from his loved ones. He, and all other unjustly detained Americans in Iran, must never be forgotten. We cannot rest until they are free. #FreeEmad pic.twitter.com/9yMJahjAOD

Tomorrow marks four years since U.S. citizen Emad Shargi was unjustly detained in #Iran. Emad remains in the notorious Evin Prison under false charges. Sen. Rubio calls for his immediate release and safe reunification with his family. #FreeEmad #ExpressionNOToppression pic.twitter.com/CSsp3co7ov

One year ago, Emad Shargi was rearrested after being cleared of all charges, retried in a secret trial, and convicted in absentia, in flagrant disregard of due process and the rule of law. The Iranian government should release him immediately. pic.twitter.com/bninH9hMUL

Last week tragically marked 4 years since the #Iranian regime unjustly detained U.S. citizen Emad Shargi. Sadly, Emad, like Siamak Namazi and Morad Tahbaz, remains detained in the notorious Evin Prison. The Biden Admin must prioritize their safe return to the U.S. #FreeEmad

Four years ago today Emad Shargi was unjustly detained and remains in Iran’s notorious Evin prison, demonstrating Iran’s blatant disregard for human rights and due process. I stand with Emad’s family and call for his immediate release and safe return. #FreeEmad
